Across the series, floral forms are used to challenge the lazy hierarchies we attach to beauty, fragility, darkness, power, masculinity, and femininity. What is commonly dismissed as soft or decorative is re-framed as commanding, atmospheric, and quietly intense. These works do not treat delicacy as weakness, nor darkness as the absence of beauty.
