Cavum is built around absence. The centre feels quiet, but not empty. Its symmetry gives it the authority of an object, while the darker internal space suggests something withdrawn, preserved, or waiting with considerable discipline.

Medusa carries the myth without illustrating it. The work is less monster than encounter: a held gaze, a warning already ignored, a beautiful problem in black and white. By the time you notice the danger, you have rather committed yourself.
